Biography.
Melissa Kowalczyk is a writer, designer and artist who lives in Menominee, Mich.
Kowalczyk grew up in a southern suburb of Chicago and moved to northern Wisconsin with her family when she was middle-school aged. She grew up surrounded by family and friends who allowed that creative spirit to grow and thrive and continues to support her in all her endeavors.
Although her first love is art and design, she found an outlet in writing with her life-long friend. They continue to encourage each other in their writing habits and love to read each other’s work.
Kowalczyk’s writing usually involves internal conflict of her characters and how they change and develop, regardless of age. She also dabbles in other types of writing including articles, blogs, short stories, etc.
