I’ve dedicated my career up until 2021 to design. I started out designing pages and graphics for a local newspaper. As the years went by, my focus moved to designing dynamic covers and working on several publications in the newsroom and advertising department, as well as advertisements.
I also particularly liked my role as the template guru of sorts. I kept things organized created fluidity between departments so that there was as little major changes as possible.
I also had a brief stint at a marketing agency, where I designed how the web pages looked, social media posts, and other changing graphics for three clients. Shortly thereafter, I continued my career back at the local newspaper.
I accepted an opportunity that was offered to me to become a full time graphic designer, laying out pages for multiple publications.
